Bennedict Mathurin Tendered a Qualifying Offer
According to Michael Scotto of USA Today, the Los Angeles Clippers tendered guard/forward Bennedict Mathurin a qualifying offer on Monday. The move makes the 24-year-old a restricted free agent, allowing the Clippers to match any contract offer he receives from another team. Mathurin joined the Clippers following last season's Ivica Zubac trade. In 26 games with Los Angeles, he averaged 17.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 28.0 minutes per contest.
