Our favorite high-upside waiver wire bench stashes, fantasy football sleepers for Week 7 of 2025. Waiver wire stashes include Luther Burden, Jordan Whittington, Oronde Gadsden more.
Stashing the right player can save you a significant amount of your FAAB budget. In Week 6, managers who stashed Kimani Vidal ahead of Sunday's contests were very rewarded as he appears as the team's RB1 for the foreseeable future.
In Week 6, managers saw several high-end players suffer injuries, and many rookies began to carve out more substantial roles, opening the door for a second-half breakout.
In this piece, we will take a look at some of the top stashes ahead of Week 7. Let's dive in!

High-Upside Waiver Wire Bench Stashes
Only players rostered in fewer than 30% of fantasy football leagues are considered potential streamers.
Isaiah Davis, RB - NYJ
15% Rostered
The entire Jets offense struggled in London during their loss to the Broncos. However, with Braelon Allen (knee) landing on the IR and trending toward missing the remainder of the campaign, Davis faces minimal competition for the No. 2 job behind Breece Hall.
In Week 5, Davis logged 42% of the snaps while Hall saw just 61%. However, on Sunday, the Jets relied more on Hall, as he logged 75% of the snaps, leaving just 25% for Davis.
Despite this minor drop in usage, Davis remained a high-upside stash option. Davis has seen the two targets in two of his past three games and ran double-digit routes in both of these games as well. While Hall will continue to serve as the workhorse, Davis proposes to select a suitable hand if Hall were to miss time.
In addition, with the Jets dropping the first six games and Hall being in his final year of his contract, several teams will begin to place trade offers for Hall. Davis could carry high-floor RB2 upside in the event that Hall leaves the Jets before the end of the month.
Jaydon Blue, RB - DAL
10% Rostered
The other running back to consider stashing ahead of Week 7 is Jaydon Blue of the Dallas Cowboys. With Miles Sanders (knee) ruled out of the remainder of the campaign, Blue is now locked into the RB2 role behind Javonte Williams.
Through his first two NFL games, Blue had a minimal role, logging just seven rushing attempts. In this brief taste of NFL action, Blue has tallied just seven yards and has yet to be targeted in the passing game.
While he carries minimal standalone value, he could enter must-start status if Williams were to issue it. While Williams has been one of the best draft steals throughout the early part of the campaign, the former Bronco has dealt with knee injuries in the past. He also saw his production drop in the second half of the 2024 campaign as he averaged just 7.6 PPR points per game from Week 10 and on.
Managers who need to climb their standings should look to stash Davis instead, as he carries more short-term upside. However, managers who sit comfortably at the top of their standings can afford to take the short-term hit in stashing Blue.

Jordan Whittington, WR - LAR
5% Rostered
One of the major injuries on Sunday was to top wideout Puka Nacua. While Nauca appears to have avoided a major injury, he is in danger of sitting out in Week 7. This could open the door for Jordan Whittington to have decent short-term value with potential longer-term upside if Nacua faces a setback.
While Whittington has only caught 10 of his 13 targets for a mere 112 yards this season, he was pushed into a starting role in his debut campaign last fall and flashed high upside. In the three games in which he logged more than 30 offensive snaps, Whittington averaged an impressive 13.6 PPR points per game with 79.6 yards per game.
Whittington carries viable plug-and-play FLEX upside with high long-term value if Nacua misses additional time.
Luther Burden III, WR - CHI
10% Rostered
Entering Week 6, the 21-year-old rookie only made an impact in one game. In their Week 3 victory over the Cowboys, Burden would tally 101 yards and a score on just three receptions. However, in his other three games, he could catch just four passes for -2 yards. However, like most rookie wideouts in the past, he immediately flashed upside coming out of his bye week.
Following their Week 5 bye, Burden caught all four of his targets for 51 yards during the victory over the Commanders on Monday evening. While he was sitting behind the No. 3 WR, Olamide Zaccheaus, Burden saw his target share increase, which was a positive sign.
With DJ Moore being taken to the hospital following Monday's contest, Burden could find himself in a prominent role in the near future.

Oronde Gadsden, TE - LAC
5% Rostered
While Gadsden was unable to find consistent targets throughout the month, he saw a season-high eight targets on Sunday afternoon. With Quentin Johnston (hamstring) unable to play, Gadsden nearly matched Ladd McConkey as Justin Herbert's top target.
Gadsden brought in seven of these targets for 68 yards. Seeing that the rookie has surpassed Will Dissly and Tyler Conklin on the depth chart, he is worth stashing in all 12-team formats.
Even if Johnston were to return, Gadsden is seeing his role continue to increase, and given the high-passing nature of this offense, Gadsden could push for low-end TE1 value in most matchups in the future.
