Outfield Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups - Week 12 (2025)

Jesus Sanchez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Frank's outfield fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups for Week 12 of 2025 (June 16 through June 22). Consider picking up and streaming these free-agent outfielders, including Jesus Sanchez and Jake Meyers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to my Week 12 fantasy baseball outfielder waiver wire pickups, which focus on games from June 16 to June 22 of the 2025 MLB season. There are 12 teams with seven-game schedules this week, featuring the Athletics, Orioles, Rockies, Astros, Angels, Dodgers, Marlins, Yankees, Phillies, Padres, Rays, and Nationals. The focus of this week's column will be on these teams, as we're prioritizing volume by trying to maximize plate appearances.

There will also be a couple of players included for their long-term value. The players featured in this column combine standard formats and deeper leagues, using roster percentages from Yahoo! (11-50 percent for shallow leagues and 10 percent or less for deeper leagues).

These outfielder waiver wire pickups are either one-week streamers or have a chance to stay on your roster. With that in mind, let's dive into my Week 12 fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Fantasy Baseball Outfield Waiver Wire Adds - Standard Leagues

Jo Adell, Los Angeles Angels (27% rostered)

Jo Adell is slashing .297/.381/.784 with six home runs in 11 games in June. This includes a 13.9% barrel rate and 99th-percentile bat speed on the season, per Baseball Savant. The Angels have seven games this week: four at the Yankees and three home to the Astros. You have to like the spot for Adell to keep the good times rolling at Yankee Stadium.

Jorge Soler, Los Angeles Angels (23% rostered)

Jorge Soler has had a disappointing season, slashing .214/.288/.366 with eight home runs in 63 games. It hasn't improved in June, as highlighted by an abysmal .357 OPS. But the veteran outfielder still has 81st-percentile bat speed, so there's a good chance he'll get it going at some point. I'm willing to take the plunge in this seven-game week for the Angels.

Gavin Sheets, San Diego Padres (21% rostered)

Gavin Sheets has been a huge addition for the Padres, slashing .251/.306/.451 with 11 home runs in 65 games. Even though Sheets struggles vs lefties and gets three of them this week, I'm still willing to pick him up for the other four games against righties. The Padres face the Dodgers and the Royals. You can pick up Sheets for a power boost.

Jordan Beck, Colorado Rockies (17% rostered)

Jordan Beck is starting to heat up once again, featuring four two-hit games in his last six. The Rockies face the Nationals on the road for four games before returning to Coors Field for three against the Diamondbacks. You're going to want Beck in your lineup for that series in particular. The young outfielder has been entrenched in the leadoff spot for the Rockies.

Jesus Sanchez, Miami Marlins (13% rostered)

Jesus Sanchez has an underwhelming .259/.337/.394 slash, but he's been a lot better against righties, featuring a .751 OPS. The Marlins' outfielder homered in Saturday's action, so perhaps this could start a hot streak. Miami has seven games this week, each at home: four against the Phillies and three vs the Braves. Sanchez gets only three righties, but there's some long-term appeal here.

Fantasy Baseball Outfield Waiver Wire Adds - Deeper Leagues

Jake Meyers, Houston Astros (8% rostered)

Jake Meyers has hit over .300 in both May and June (so far), so he can give you a boost to your batting average. You also have to like the speed that Meyers brings to the table, featuring 10 stolen bases on the season. Meyers has been mostly hitting in the No. 5 or No. 6 spot, which is also encouraging. The Astros face the Athletics on the road for four and then three at the Angels. You're going to want to fire up Meyers for that series vs the A's.

Michael Conforto, Los Angeles Dodgers (5% rostered)

Michael Conforto has been disappointing for the Dodgers, slashing .172/.310/.281, but he homered on June 11th and can be worth a look in deeper formats as a one-week streamer. The Dodgers are home to the Padres for four and then the Nationals for three. The left-handed hitting Conforto will face six righties in this favorable schedule.

Jake Mangum, Tampa Bay Rays (5% rostered)

Jake Mangum has suited up in 13 of 14 games since returning from injury, mostly hitting in the No. 5 or No. 6 spot for the Rays. We've seen Mangum go 7-for-16 in four games heading into Saturday's action. The Rays have seven games this upcoming week, each of which is at home in the bandbox that is George Steinbrenner Field: four vs the Orioles and three vs the Tigers.

Max Kepler, Philadelphia Phillies (3% rostered)

Max Kepler is starting to heat up for the Phillies, currently on a four-game hitting streak that includes a home run on June 10th. The veteran outfielder has now hit in the No. 5 spot for three consecutive games, which should give him plenty of opportunities to rack up RBIs. The Phillies have four games at the Marlins and three vs the Mets up next. Ride the wave with Kepler to see if he can keep it going. It wouldn't surprise me to see a couple of homers this week.

Dane Myers, Miami Marlins (2% rostered)

Dane Myers has been quietly effective for the Marlins, slashing .314/.362/.446 with three home runs and eight stolen bases in 42 games. This player has five multi-hit games in his last eight, so it's time to pick him up to enjoy this hot streak. Even with Myers hitting at the bottom of the order, he's still worth a look in a seven-game schedule that includes four games vs the Phillies and three against the Braves. Don't be surprised if Myers finds his way up the Marlins' order as he continues to swing a hot bat.
