The fun doesn't end with the main slate! It never does, right? We have a beautiful selection of games on this slate, including the battle between Arkansas and Texas A&M in Jerry World. That's what kicks this off! How great of a night will this be? Northern Illinois heads to Lexington, Rutgers welcomes Iowa, and UNLV heads up to Logan at 7 pm as well.
The real prime time gets started with Wisconsin heading to Columbus. Oklahoma hosts Kansas State to kick off the 8:00 hour as does Boston College in Tallahassee. We end this prime-time slate with a prime-time west coast game with USC in Corvallis a full hour and a half later! Why is that not on the late night slate? That would be a great addition to either slate, honestly.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/24/22 locking at 7 pm eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
C.J. Stroud, Ohio State ($9,100)
With conference play comes tougher matchups. I trust the quality of Oregon State's opponents more than Wisconsin's. The Badgers aren't going to let Ohio State run the ball, so it will be up to Stroud to loosen them up. Stroud has good numbers this year, but he has also rested a lot at the end of the last couple of games. The injury to Jaxon Smith-Njigba at the beginning of the Notre Dame game capped his stats in that one. With all of his receivers healthy, Stroud could be in for a really nice game.
Doug Brumfield, UNLV ($7,100)
Brumfield ran for 100 yards last week against North Texas. The Rebels are at their best when Brumfield is also a threat to run. The Aggies have allowed a staggering 240.7 rushing yards per game, by far the worst in FBS. It's not like they've played good teams either. Weber State beat them by 28 freaking points the last time they were on a football field. UNLV is going to put up a ton of yards, especially on the ground. Brumfield should see a healthy chunk of those.
Logan Bonner ($4,900) or Cooper Legas ($4,500), Utah State
The Rebels are allowing passing yards in bunches, so whoever starts for the Aggies I have interest in. So far, Bonner is still listed as the starter, but Legas has taken over both in the Alabama and Weber State games. He has been marginally better than Bonner. It's not a glowing review of either of them and Bonner is Gary Anderson's guy from Arkansas State, so I could see him getting another chance. Either way, the Utah State starter is a great punt.
Also consider: Caleb Williams, USC ($10,200); Dillon Gabriel, Oklahoma ($8,500); Chance Nolan, Oregon State ($6,500); Adrian Martinez, Kansas State ($5,700)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Travis Dye, USC ($7,600)
Here's a fun fact about Dye. He has already played Oregon State four times as a member of the Oregon Ducks. He ran for 199 yards on them as a freshman. In each of the last three years, he has topped 90 yards. All of that was part of a committee at Oregon as well. Will Dye get more carries due to his familiarity with the Beavers? On this team, who knows? I do know that Dye should at least flirt with his third consecutive 100-yard rushing game.
Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State ($6,700)
Vaughn was held under 100 rushing yards for the first time since October 23 of last year and was held out of the end zone for the first time since October 16 against Iowa State last week against Tulane. He still put up 19.1 DraftKings points thanks to his eight receptions. Vaughn is the Kansas State offense. Even though Martinez and the offense scuffled against Tulane, Vaughn still had a productive day. He should here as well. Vaughn only ran for 51 yards on the Sooners last year, but he had ten receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown. He will have the ball in his hands a lot again this week.
Aidan Robbins, UNLV ($4,700)
Robbins is my favorite play on the entire slate and might be even if his price were double this. Robbins has six touchdowns in three games and ran for 227 last week against North Texas. UNLV should keep it on the ground against a beleaguered Utah State defense as well. Just the fact that Robbins was productive against Cal makes him a fool-proof play at this price in this matchup.
Also consider: Raheim Sanders, Arkansas ($7,400); Treshaun Ward, Florida State ($6,200); Calvin Tyler, Utah State ($4,800); Kaleb Johnson, Iowa ($3,000)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State ($7,600)
The Buckeyes played a vanilla game in the rout of Toledo. The only thing we learned there is that Smith-Njigba is healthy. He will be needed against Wisconsin where he wasn't against Toledo. The only thing the Toledo game did was lower his price to the point where we can feel confident using him at this price. That makes an Ohio State stack somewhat affordable. Honestly, Marvin Harrison Jr. may be more of a must play than Smith-Njigba at this point.
Dane Key, Kentucky ($6,300)
The freshman has filled the role or Wan'Dale Robinson nicely while Tayvion Robinson has been solid, but average. Key is the big-play guy. He has scored in all three games so far and is creeping closer to his first career 100-yard game. That's a given if NIU can keep this close. Even if they don't, Key should have a strong game for the price.
Zay Flowers, Boston College ($5,800)
Flowers sees a ton of action on a team that is starved for playmakers. His upside is capped since the Eagles are going to have problems keeping Jurkovec upright, but Flowers still had a strong game against Virginia Tech. He has three touchdowns in three games and is even getting some carries out of the backfield. No matter what happens, Boston College is going to get and keep Flowers involved in the game.
Johnny Wilson, Florida State ($5,500)
Wilson was an absolute monster against Louisville. No matter who the quarterback was, he was plucking pigskin out of the sky at a great rate. Wilson is tall with great hands and the Eagles don't have anyone that can guard him either. The Seminoles were desperate for a receiver to step up and it appears Wilson is that guy. I love his upside at this price.
Also consider: Jordan Addison, USC ($10,300); Cole Tucker, Northern Illinois ($7,100); Ricky White, UNLV ($5,800); Matt Landers, Arkansas ($4,200); Aron Cruickshank, Rutgers ($4,200); Jaden Williams, Boston College ($3,800)
College Football DFS Game Stack Options
You know which team stacks are often good, but this isn't baseball. Game stacks can and do work. I prefer more team stacks on this slate, but there is some goodness in one of these games for sure. Which one is it?
USC at Oregon State
Weird things happen in Corvallis at night. This is a tough stack to pull off thanks to the crazy prices of the USC pieces. Who is really going to pay five figures for Caleb Williams AND Jordan Addison? That's right. There's your leverage right there if this game goes off. The good part about this is most of Oregon State is affordable, starting with Chance Nolan. Tre'Shaun Harrison is the must-have receiver for the Beavers and comes cheaper than Tyjon Lindsey. The tricky part is getting other pieces of USC. Thankfully, we have to really cheap running backs that allow us to chase guys like Tahj Washington and Andrew Gould. This is a tough game stack, but it is doable.
Honorable Mention: UNLV at Utah State
