The NFL season might still be going on, and spring training is a few months away, but it's never too early to start prepping for your upcoming 2026 fantasy baseball drafts. We are entering the heart of the baseball offseason and should see some big free agent signings as well as big-time trades. It's always baseball season at RotoBaller! At RotoBaller HQ, we are here to help you get a jumpstart early on your fantasy baseball drafts with MLB teams' 2026 fantasy baseball rankings and tiers for 5x5 mixed roto leagues. These December rankings cover the top 300 players for both hitters and pitchers.

This offseason has seen some big signings, such as right-hander Dylan Cease agreeing to a seven-year, $210 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays. We've already seen some trades this offseason, with the Boston Red Sox acquiring veteran right-hander Sonny Gray from the St. Louis Cardinals. The New York Mets acquired second baseman Marcus Semien from the Texas Rangers in exchange for outfielder Brandon Nimmo. The MLB hot stove is starting to heat up, so expect more signings and trades as we enter the baseball winter meetings.
