Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs could provide an immediate scoring boost in Sunday's Week 7 matchup against Detroit, even if his workload is limited. Green Bay has averaged an NFL-worst 59.8 rushing yards per game and 2.9 yards per carry during his six-game absence. Detroit has allowed six rushing touchdowns through five games despite holding opponents to 107 rushing yards per contest.
That matchup could favor Jacobs, who rushed for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2025, particularly if he reclaims goal-line opportunities. Green Bay's running backs continued to struggle against Dallas last week, with Pierre Strong Jr. gaining 28 yards on 11 carries and MarShawn Lloyd managing just 10 yards on eight attempts. Strong caught five passes, potentially giving Green Bay another option on passing downs as Jacobs gets reacclimated.
Head coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that Jacobs is on track to play, though his workload remains to be determined. RotoBaller ranks Jacobs RB13 for Week 7. If active, Jacobs offers RB2 value with significant touchdown upside, though fantasy managers should account for a potentially reduced workload.
Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker just had one of his best games of the season, but can he keep that up for fantasy managers in Week 7? Tucker led the Raiders with five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6, outperforming tight end Brock Bowers for the first time this season.
The fourth-year wideout has four or more receptions in five straight games, bringing him to 24 receptions for 371 yards on the season. However, Tucker has also proven to be inconsistent, and will now face a Rams defense that is allowing just 167 passing yards per game. Tucker hasn't shaken his boom-or-bust profile yet, but is a viable stream
Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum has scored a touchdown in each of his last two games, bumping him up to the RB28 spot in total PPR scoring this season. Corum has remained in the No. 2 running back role behind Kyren Williams, but that hasn't stopped him from carving out standalone value in PPR leagues, especially in the last two weeks.
The bad news is that Corum has played more than one-third of the snaps in just one game this season, so even though he has been productive lately, he doesn't have the typical workload of a top-36 fantasy running back.
Therefore, fantasy managers should want him to earn more snaps and more volume going forward, especially since his touchdown streak could come to an end any week. He's currently an RB3/flex in fantasy football, but his fantasy outlook remains very much dependent on scoring touchdowns.
Bam Knight, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight is expected to see substantial early-down opportunities against the Denver Broncos on Sunday with Jeremiyah Love (ankle) sidelined for another week. According to Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports, head coach Mike LaFleur emphasized Knight's explosiveness while identifying Tyler Allgeier as a valuable third-down option because of his pass-protection skills.
Knight rushed 15 times for 80 yards in Arizona's Week 6 victory over the Los Angeles Rams, including a 31-yard gain, and added two receptions for 18 yards. He produced 98 scrimmage yards despite playing eight fewer snaps than Allgeier, with full-body cramps limiting his second-half involvement.
LaFleur's comments suggest Knight will remain a significant part of the rushing attack, giving him flex appeal in deeper fantasy leagues as Arizona keeps splitting the backfield.
Tyler Allgeier, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals running back Tyler Allgeier is once again drawing another start in the backfield this weekend. Lead back Jeremiyah Love (ankle) is sidelined for the second straight week. Allgeier is looking for better results after rushing for 38 yards on 18 attempts during last week's win over the Los Angeles Rams. Backup Bam Knight was much more efficient with 80 rushing yards on 15 carries last weekend.
This could end up being a 50-50 split in the backfield after last week's results. The Broncos have allowed the second-most rushing yards this season, so the expectation is that Allgeier will be better this weekend. His value could be trending downward if he doesn't come out of the gate strong on Sunday.
