Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee could jump to the top of the depth chart in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Terrance Ferguson (ankle) is the Rams' usual No. 1 tight end, but he suffered an ankle injury last weekend and is at risk of being sidelined for Week 4 after missing back-to-back practices. Barring a quick recovery, Ferguson is trending toward missing the game against Philadelphia, which could leave Higbee in line to lead the position group. He capitalized on Ferguson's early exit in Week 3, catching eight of 11 targets for 62 yards and one touchdown.
This was Higbee's best fantasy performance since 2022, and he's a sneaky candidate to rank among the top 12 tight ends again this Sunday. His outlook will also depend on the availability of wide receiver Puka Nacua (groin), who was limited in practice on Thursday after missing two consecutive games.
Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange has been off to a slow start to begin the season. The 25-year-old was able to get a little more involved in the offense during the Week 3 win over the New England Patriots. Strange hauled in three of his five targets for 32 yards in the blowout win. It's not the best performance on paper, but the five targets are a good sight for the fourth-year tight end.
The hope is that the Jaguars continue to keep getting Strange involved with a handful of targets each week. Strange will have a favorable matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals defense in Week 4. He should be on the TE2 radar for that one.
Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys
Three games into the 2026 season, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson has recorded nine catches for 72 yards and three touchdowns on 11 targets. Ferguson has averaged just 7.7 yards per reception since the start of the 2024 season, which limits his production upside. As long as Cowboys wideouts CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Ryan Flournoy remain healthy, it may also be difficult for Ferguson to see consistent target volume in Dallas.
However, the 27-year-old has now logged 11 touchdowns across his last 20 games played and appears to be a clear red zone weapon for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. With the potent Dallas offense looking likely to find itself in high-scoring games on a regular basis this season, Ferguson has a decent chance to continue scoring touchdowns. Particularly in deeper leagues, Ferguson profiles as a top tight end streamer for fantasy managers.
Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
After opening the season with a three-catch, 65-yard performance that was good enough to make him the TE16 on the week, Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has turned in back-to-back quiet outings, and he has fallen to TE32 for the year. After an ACL tear ended his breakout 2025 campaign, Kraft came into the season with rumblings of a pitch count, but he has shown no signs of limitation in handling a 79% snap share and ranking ninth among tight ends with 17 targets.
Unfortunately, his chemistry with quarterback Jordan Love has been lacking, with the two connecting on only 52.9% of those targets. Kraft's two drops in three games are already one shy of his total from a season ago, and while his 10.8 yards after catch helped make him a dominant force in 2025, that number has fallen to 5.6 yards per catch on a limited 2026 sample.
While he will need to prove he still belongs in the weekly TE1 discussion, Kraft has a plus matchup against the Buccaneers in Week 4 and is RotoBaller's TE10.
Kyle Pitts Sr., Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. has been a non-factor to start the 2026 season. In three games, Pitts has caught just two passes for 20 yards, averaging one fantasy point per game. Despite the Falcons' offensive explosion in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers, Pitts caught only one pass for five yards, while backup tight end Austin Hooper found the end zone.
Through three games, Pitts has played just 53% of snaps and 63% of routes, with a 7.5% target share. Despite being drafted fourth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, Pitts has not lived up to expectations and is on pace for his worst season to date. Right now, he doesn't have enough value to be rosterable, though a productive game against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4 could catapult him back to relevance.
