Points Leagues Fantasy Baseball Rankings Updates for June - Bobby Witt Jr., Aaron Nola, Jacob deGrom, Gleyber Torres and More

Shane McClanahan - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News, Starting Pitchers

Nick Gaut's June updates for points league fantasy baseball rankings. His rest-of-season points and head-to-head (H2H) points rankings for pitchers and hitters.

Hello there RotoBallers, we are now more than two months deep into the MLB season. It's a great time to do another update and check-in for our fantasy baseball rankings. In this article below you'll see Nicklaus Gaut's updated 2022 fantasy baseball points league rankings for June, looking at rest-of-season values from this point going forward. These fantasy baseball rankings are catered specifically for points leagues and head-to-head (H2H) points league formats.

With more than two months in the books, a lot has happened. More top prospects have been called up, big-time injuries have taken place, some players have slumped badly, and unexpected players have continued to emerge into fantasy staples. How much of this will remain going forward, and are there undervalued or overvalued fantasy baseball assets out there that you should be focused on?

RotoBaller's lead fantasy baseball points analyst Nicklaus Gaut has given you his thoughts on these questions with his revised fantasy baseball rankings. They will be updated every few weeks for the rest of the season, so be sure to check back often. Over at RotoBaller, we take a lot of pride in our in-depth points leagues articles, tools and analysis. The industry as a whole doesn't put out enough content for points leagues, but we have you covered!

Top 450 Fantasy Baseball Points Rankings - June Update

Nick Gaut's rankings are as of June 16th, 2022. They are for points and head-to-head points leagues. You can also see our June updates for 5x5 mixed league roto rankings.

Before we get to the H2H points rankings themselves, let's quickly review points leagues and how they are different than other formats. Typically, points leagues have different league settings and scoring formats than other fantasy baseball leagues. Different MLB stats and categories are assigned different point values, and those can vary by individual league settings. Those different point buckets are then added up over the course of a scoring period or season.

In many cases, hitters who walk more and strikeout less are preferred for points leagues. Also, many league formats tend to give more weight to pitchers than normal as they can easily accrue points through categories like Innings Pitched. These are the general frameworks that we use for our points league rankings below, and explain why they look different than more standard 5x5 roto fantasy baseball rankings.
