Recent Update

4/23:Mike Moustakas is starting his contract season with a bang. Moose went yard for the 6th time this season on Sunday. He's reverted back to being more fly ball-heavy, and it seems to be working so far. Over the last three seasons, Moustakas has never hit fly balls on more than 41.4% of his balls in play, but so far in 2017, 46.8% of the balls he's put into play have been up in the air. Combined with a 22.7% HR/FB rate, he's hitting homers at a faster pace than ever before. Whether his new pace is sustainable is yet to be seen, but if his injury-shortened 2016 told owners anything, it was that his power has grown. Moustakas's HR/FB rate was a career-best 19.4% before he suffered his season-ending knee injury.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
