Recent Update

5/13:Entering tonight’s game early on in the aftermath of Chicago Cubs outfielder Jon Jay’s injury, third baseman Tommy La Stella would pick up a pair of hits, but his second hit would prove to be decisive. His first came in his very first plate appearance, as he doubled with one out in the third. His final hit of the night, however, was a solo home run in the seventh, which increased the Chicago lead to three. With St. Louis ultimately recording two runs late, La Stella’s home run ultimately wound up being the winning hit, with the Cubs walking away victorious.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
