Recent Update

7/25:Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks made his return to the mound on Monday at Wrigley against the crosstown rival White Sox. Hendricks threw 92 pitches over 4 1/3 innings and gave up just one run on eight hits and no walks while striking out five. Despite manager Joe Maddon insisting on limiting his pitches before the game, Hendricks came back out for the fifth and gave up a run before getting taken out. Hendricks did give up hits, but he kept things in check for the most part in his return. Hendricks will likely get his next start on Saturday against the Brewers in Milwaukee.--Dan Hogan - RotoBaller
