Recent Update

8/16:Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi (knee) returns to the lineup and will bat third in the series finale against the Cardinals Wednesday. Benintendi was removed in the fifth inning of Tuesday’s contest after he was struck in the knee by a 83 MPH slider from Mike Leake. It was a precautionary measure as the Red Sox were winning handily and as expected Benintendi will not miss any time.--Jared T - RotoBaller

Beat Writer Chatter

  • @PeteAbe: Nice shot of Benintendi running to second: https://t.co/JcpKc36vfs
