Recent Update

7/30:Seattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz has homered three times in his last three games heading into Monday night's matchup against the Astros. Cruz is slugging .593 over his last seven games and now has 25 bombs on the season with 61 RBI. Cruz is on pace for 38 home runs this season but will need to improve upon his production hitting at Safeco Field this season. The veteran slugger has really struggled at Safeco this season, slashing only .207/.305/.457 through 48 home games. Cruz will face a tough test against Astros starter Gerrit Cole Monday night but is slugging .559 in night games this season. Cruz is always a threat to go deep and should be active in most formats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
