Recent Update

9/11:Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Michael Fulmer will require surgery to repair his right elbow and will miss the remainder of the 2017 season. He will go under the knife Tuesday, receiving ulnar nerve transposition surgery and then facing a three-to-four month recovery period. It's a huge blow for fantasy owners entering the playoff stretch who bet big on the reigning AL Rookie of the Year, but there's no reason to think that this will jeopardize his 2018 season. Mets hurler Jacob deGrom had the same surgery at the end of last season and was ready for Spring Training this year. Fulmer will finish his 2017 campaign with a 10-12 record and a 3.83 ERA in 164 2/3 innings this season.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
