Max Stassi Continues To Make Most Of More Playing Time
7 years agoHouston Astros catcher Max Stassi went 2-for-4 with a home run and three runs batted in Wednesday against the Yankees. Stassi now has hits in each of the last seven games played and has two home runs and seven runs batted in during that span. Stassi is enjoying a fantastic month of May and is 16-for-43 (.372) since May 7 while posting a slugging percentage of .640. Stassi, however, has done most of his damage hitting away from Minute Maid Park. He is slashing .333/.394/.633 in road games this season while hitting only .241 at home. With Brian McCann on the disabled list, Stassi is an intriguing short-term play in fantasy right now. The Astros return home to open up a series with the Red Sox beginning Thursday night.
