KJ Hamler Done For The Year With Torn ACL
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver KJ Hamler (knee) suffered a torn ACL in the Week 3 win over the New York Jets and will miss the rest of the season, according to a source. Hamler will finish his second season in the NFL with five catches on 10 targets for 74 yards. The speedy deep threat wasn't able to take advantage of Jerry Jeudy's high ankle sprain the last two weeks. With Jeudy still out for another few weeks at least, Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick and tight end Noah Fant should be the team's top three receiving targets for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Hamler remains a dynasty/keeper stash for his big-play ability, but he can obviously be dropped in any deeper single-year leagues. Patrick should remain a WR4/flex heading into Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens after he led the team in receiving in Week 3.
