Jose Trevino Homers, Drives In Three In Win Over Cardinals
Jose Trevino had a big game in his team's 9-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday. Trevino went 1-for-3 with a homer and three RBI to help power the Reds to the lopsided victory. The veteran catcher kicked off the scoring in the game with a two-run homer in the second inning and later added a sacrifice fly in the fourth. Trevino is now hitting .324 with three homers, 15 runs, and nine RBI across 68 at-bats for the Reds. The backstop has not been known for his bat over his career, so it is unlikely he will keep his average above .300, but he's hitting .333 with two homers over his past seven games. Trevino is worth streaming in deep leagues during this mini hot streak if you need help at the catcher position.
