Is Jordan Love Unstartable In Fantasy?
Jordan Love has had to bank on efficiency through the first few weeks of the season. For all the great things about the Packers' offense that we've seen, it's not a friendly offense for fantasy football. Week 3 was more of the same for Love as he threw for just 183 yards with one touchdown and an interception against a tough Cleveland Browns defense. Love has not been a top 12 fantasy quarterback once through three games, as he's capped out at QB13 in his Week 2 matchup against the Commanders, where Love threw for 292 yards and two touchdowns. Passing volume is a major concern for the Packers as well, as the Packers have just one game over 30 passing attempts since Week 9 of 2024: that same game against the Commanders in Week 2. That game was also just the fourth game of 20+ fantasy points for Love in his last 16 starts where he didn't leave the game, dating back to 2023. The Packers have a prime matchup against the Cowboys, who have given up the most passing yardage in the NFL, but Love cannot be a trusted QB1 or even a streaming option. Given Love's capped ceiling of opportunity and lack of fantasy production within that, he's best left as a QB2 in two-quarterback leagues.
