Dean Kremer To Start In Game 3 Of ALDS
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles right-hander Dean Kremer will take the mound for Game 3 of the American League Division Series on Wednesday in Texas as the Orioles look to stave off elimination after losing the first two games of the best-of-five series. It will be Kremer's first postseason appearance after allowing just seven runs (four earned) on 11 hits while walking five and striking out 16 in 13 2/3 innings in his last three starts of the regular season against the Rays, Guardians and Red Sox. The 27-year-old faced the Rangers once this year on May 27 and took the loss after giving up three runs while walking two and striking out five in 6 1/3 innings of work. Kremer was slightly better on the road (3.73 ERA, 1.39 WHIP) than at home (4.38 ERA, 1.26 WHIP) in 2023, but it will be a tough task against a hot Rangers offense.
