Courtland Sutton 2020 Outlook: Denver's No. 1 Wideout Has More Competition For Targets
5 years agoCourtland Sutton made his first Pro Bowl in his second NFL season in a truly breakout year, catching 72 passes on 124 targets (15th in the league) for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns. He finished as a top-20 fantasy wideout. The 24-year-old former second-round pick remains Denver's top wideout, but he'll have more competition for targets in 2020 because of the additions of wideouts Jerry Jeudy (first round) and K.J. Hamler (second round) in this year's draft. Second-year tight end Noah Fant should play a bigger role as well. Sutton's stock is on the rise after a remarkable 2019 season, but don't bank on him matching or exceeding those totals in Year 3 as a high-end WR2.
