Free daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Koby's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on May 15, 2025.
Welcome back, RotoBallers! We are back for Game 6 as the Oklahoma City Thunder travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets. We have just a one-game slate, so this will be in the showdown format. The Nuggets face elimination in this one, so expect Nikola Jokic and company to show out one more time to keep their playoff hopes alive.
I will help you dive into the slate and hopefully bring in some more cash for the rest of the playoffs! This article will focus on the top guys to play at MVP, some flex guys to put in your utility spots, and a couple of value options to make the rest of the lineup work! The key to succeeding in NBA DFS is making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available.
But it's always essential to have a game plan and zero in on the best players and spots before making those adjustments. This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/15/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our excellent NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 8:30 p.m. EDT on DraftKings.
Today's NBA DFS MVP Picks
These are the guys you want headlining your lineups at the MVP position.
Jalen Williams, OKC - SF/PF ($14.4K DK, $16.8K FD)
Jalen Williams has been a big reason this Thunder team has a 3-2 lead. He has been a great No. 2 option besides SGA and a good MVP option, but he is extremely expensive. We get a $7K discount on FanDuel if we go with Williams at MVP. He isn't going to blow your socks off with 50+ fantasy points, but he has a great floor as he has had 32+ fantasy points in all five games in round two.
Aaron Gordon, DEN - PF/C (DraftKings Only) ($12K DK, $11.1K FD)
Like I mentioned with Williams, Aaron Gordon is a solid cheaper option at MVP to help ease up those expensive salaries that players like Jokic have. Gordon has been critical for the Nuggets in getting a couple of wins. He has 39+ fantasy points in three of the five games in round two and can make for a solid, cheap MVP play for a more balanced build.
Others To Consider: Nikola Jokic - C, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG
Today's NBA DFS Utility
These players are ones you may want to add to your Utility spots!
Isaiah Hartenstein, OKC - C ($7.8K DK, $7.2K FD)
Isaiah Hartenstein has been great during the playoffs, and I'm surprised his price hasn't gone up much. Hartenstein has had 31 fantasy points in four straight games and has been a true paint beast against Denver. He has averaged just under a double-double during round two of the playoffs. He makes for a solid Utility player and should be able to continue his dominance.

Jamal Murray, DEN - PG/SG ($9.6K DK, $9K FD)
Jamal Murray has had a bit of an up-and-down road during the playoffs. He has shown he can explode in some games, and in some games, he takes a step back. With the season on the line, I'm expecting the absolute best version of Murray here. Murray has played 41+ minutes in all but one game during round two, and he has scored 36+ fantasy points in three of them. Murray makes for a great Utility player and could be used at MVP as well in some GPPs.
Others To Consider: Chet Holmgren - PF/C, Christian Braun - SG/SF

Today's NBA DFS Value Picks
Michael Porter Jr., DEN - SF/PF (FanDuel Only) ($6.2K DK, $4.2K FD)
Michael Porter Jr. might not be the most attractive option, but the minutes that MPJ gets on a nightly basis are hard to come by at this price range. He has been inconsistent, but did put up 31 fantasy points in Game 3. If he can get his shots to start falling, then he can be a big reason the Nuggets come out on top in this one.
Alex Caruso, OKC - PG (DraftKings Only)/SG/SF (FanDuel Only) ($5.2K DK, $3.6K FD)
There are a few guys toward the bottom of the barrel who are viable, but I like the increased production and minutes we have seen from Caruso in the last three games. He hasn't done a lot, but he is good for nearly six times his price, and his ability to be a menace on defense can lead to some extra steals to inflate his fantasy points.
Alex Caruso was made for playoff basketball...
One of the best combinations of timing, anticipation, & hands in NBA history. Maximum force + maximum precision. Ultimate rhythm disrupter, makes every offensive player deeply uncomfortable. And knocking down 3s! Premium skillset. pic.twitter.com/BJ8NmEe0Em
