Brandin Cooks' fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit running back Brandin Cooks for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks finally had his first big game of the season in Week 10 against the New York Giants. He caught nine passes for 173 yards and one touchdown. That helped Cooks finish as the WR3 on the week behind an impressive 27.8 half-PPR fantasy points. It was nice to finally see the veteran wideout get involved in Dallas' offense. However, even after last week's performance, he might still be hard to trust in fantasy in Week 11 against the Carolina Panthers.
Before Cooks' monster line last week, he really didn't warrant a start in fantasy. He failed to have more than four catches or 50 receiving in any game this season and was not a major part of Dallas' offense. As a matter of fact, most fantasy managers likely dropped him in 10 or 12-team leagues. The incredible game could be a great sign of things to come, but still makes him a risky start this weekend.
If you don't have better options, he could be a fine play in 14-team leagues or even 12-team leagues. But the Panthers are giving up the third-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts this season. So, we might not see a similar line for Cooks this week, especially with the Cowboys being big favorites in this contest.
