Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups - Brian Robinson, Braelon Allen, Rachaad White Fantasy Football Outlooks

Rachaad White - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Week 4 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Brian Robinson, Braelon Allen, Rachaad White in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.

It is never too soon to be combing the waiver wire to upgrade your roster. That is especially true at running back after injuries to players like James Conner, Najee Harris, and Aaron Jones Sr. to start the season.

Most backfields are split this season, which allows fantasy managers to find fantasy contributors in any backfield. However, not all split situations are equal, which makes it imperative to hit on the right players on the waiver wire.

Three players who are on the fantasy radar for Week 4: Brian Robinson Jr., Braelon Allen, and Rachaad White. Are any worth rostering? Read below to find out.

Editor's Note: Identify fantasy football draft busts, overvalued ADPs, and key players to avoid so you can draft with confidence this season.

Brian Robinson Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Brian Robinson Jr. quickly fell out of favor in Washington this offseason, culminating in a trade to the San Francisco 49ers right before the start of the 2025 season. Robinson has had a minor role with the 49ers through the first three weeks, handling 17 carries for 75 yards and adding two receptions on three targets for three yards.

However, it is important to note that Robinson’s role diminished in Week 3. In the 49ers’ first two games, the veteran running back played at least 22% of the team’s snaps and had at least seven opportunities. In Week 3, Robinson played just 9.2% of the team’s snaps with two carries.

The 49ers were missing three key pass-catchers on Sunday (George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and Jauan Jennings), which made Christian McCaffrey the focal point of the passing offense (15 targets, 10 receptions, and 88 receiving yards). That led to more snaps for McCaffrey and a smaller role for Robinson.

Given McCaffrey’s injury history, Robinson is a player who should be rostered in all formats, even if he is just a bench stash at this point. Through three games, he is the only running back outside of McCaffrey who has gotten a carry and would see a massive role increase due to an injury.

Braelon Allen Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Braelon Allen was the talk of the summer. Many felt like the second-year running back would take over the Jets backfield from veteran Breece Hall. Through three weeks, Allen has carved out a consistent role but has fallen well short of the dream scenario.

Allen has 14 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown, plus two receptions for 17 yards in three games. He has just two games where he has a 30% or higher snap share, but has yet to surpass 34% of the team’s offensive snaps. Allen did register a season-high eight touches in Week 3, which was still behind Hall’s 13.

The Jets offense has had its struggles finding the end zone in 2025, which is really capping Allen’s fantasy ceiling as a short-yardage and goal-line back. Until that is corrected, it will be hard to trust him in fantasy. He’s currently a low-volume, early down back with a limited role.

Of the players on this list, he’s the one who is getting the most consistent workload each week. If the Jets offense can get into the red zone a bit more, he could have RB3-level weeks if he can get across the goal line.

Rachaad White Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

It has been an uneven start for Rachaad White in 2025. White was excellent in Week 2, handling 10 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown while adding two receptions for one yard in a win against the Texans. Unfortunately, in his other two games, White has combined for just seven carries for 26 yards and two receptions for four yards. So far, a Week 2 touchdown has been the closest he's been to being fantasy-relevant.

White has fully taken a backseat to Bucky Irving this season by logging a snap share above 30% just once in three weeks. There was hope coming into the season that White could continue to be a factor in passing situations, but he has just four targets through three weeks compared to Irving’s 14.

At this point, White is strictly a handcuff who needs an injury to Irving to be consistently relevant in fantasy. The Buccaneers offense is one to like in fantasy (even with injury woes along the offensive line and at receiver), but there just isn’t room for two running backs in their backfield.
