NFL tight end Jonnu Smith is a fantasy football draft sleeper and ADP value pick for 2020. Target him as an undervalued TE in your fantasy football drafts.

ANALYSIS: The Titans rode Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown to the playoffs last season and vice-versa, but their 2017 third-round pick could make noise in 2020. Delanie Walker went down in Week 7 and while Smith showed flashes, he wasn’t a finished product in an offense that emphasized the run and deep ball. When it comes to drafting TEs, you want players capable of greatness rather than locking in unremarkable floors. Many leagues will see Jack Doyle, Eric Ebron, Blake Jarwin (another good yet popular sleeper), Ian Thomas, and others as free agents, ready to step in should this not work out.
Smith profiles closely with Darren Waller, though the Raiders let him run downfield more often and lacked a playmaker like Brown. From Week 7 on, Smith’s 190 yards after catch ranked eighth out of 102 TEs. Per AirYards.com’s RACR metric -- an efficiency measure of receiving yards divided by air yards -- Smith’s RACR of 1.47 in that span trailed only George Kittle (TEs w/ >30 targets).
Other than Blake Jarwin, Jonnu Smith projects to finish 2020 give his owners the highest return on investment as he's currently getting off the board as the TE19 while expected to finish the year as the TE15 with upside to enter the TE1 realm per PFF. Over 16 games PFF has Jonnu at 133+ PPR points in 2020 catching 50 passes for 545 yards and 5 TDs. Targeting Smith inside the first 12 rounds isn't anything crazy to do this offseason if you don't want to lose him in your drafts.
