Spring training is here, and here comes the influx of news regarding offseason acquisitions, injuries, and trade rumors. We recently updated our 2026 fantasy baseball rankings for all positions, to account for the injuries or latest news. Our rankings and tiers are designed for roto leagues and rank the top 750 players to help you prepare for your upcoming fantasy drafts.
There has been a recent rash of injuries that has affected the latest rankings. Corbin Carroll underwent surgery to repair a fractured hamate bone in his right hand and is uncertain for Opening Day, while Francisco Lindor also underwent hamate bone surgery on his right hand. Spencer Schwellenbach is expected to need surgery to remove bone spurs in his right elbow and was placed on the 60-day injured list. Continuing with the broken hamate bone theme, Jackson Holliday is set to start the season on the IL as he underwent surgery for a fractured right hamate bone.
