When is Drake London coming back? Will Drake London play again this season? Read about Drake London's return date and injury updates for 2025 as of Week 13.
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (knee) has now missed two total games this season. He wasn't able to play in Week 8 due to a surprise hip injury at practice.
This time, he suffered a knee injury in Week 11, and wasn't able to suit up in Week 12. The Falcons dealt with another key injury on offense, too.
Starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr.'s season is over after he suffered a partial ACL tear and will need full reconstruction of the ligament. But when will London be able to come back? And what's his fantasy football outlook upon his return?

Drake London Injury Update for Fantasy Football
London suffered a PCL injury in Week 11. This is really not great news. While many players come back from MCL sprains sooner, they struggle playing through the injury the rest of the season. Just look at DK Metcalf's production before and after his MCL sprain in 2024, and he had three weeks off.
It's not clear how severe London's injury is, but the timeline for these aliments can be bleak. For example, San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall missed six weeks with his PCL injury, and has had majorly diminished performance since coming back, with just 1.0 and 2.8 PPR fantasy points in the last two weeks.

PCL sprains aren't totally uncommon when a player bangs their knee against the turf. It's the injury that knocked out San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey for the season in 2024. And the Falcons have already said they'd rather be cautious with London.
I'd lean toward him missing at least three weeks, but we won't know much until this week's practice reports come back. There's not much reason to rush him back -- the Falcons season is likely over, as they already had a losing record and suffered multiple terrible losses.
Drake London Fantasy Football Outlook
Even without Penix, London will be a WR1 when he comes back fully healthy. His development in the NFL has paid off as he's finally grown into the dominant receiver he can be -- a tough-to-tackle, massive wideout with excellent body control and route-running ability that can genuinely moss defenders.
London had three straight games with over 100 yards receiving and five total this year before his latest injury. Despite missing two games and already having had his bye week, he's still the WR7 overall in PPR fantasy leagues, and he's a must-start when he returns.

His three-touchdown game against the New England Patriots netted him 38.8 PPR fantasy points, and in Week 6, he excelled against another tough pass defense in the Buffalo Bills, catching 10 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown. There was a time when he didn't have great production when fellow Falcons WR Darnell Mooney was on the field.
But in the last few games, Penix finally started targeting London at a high rate, and it paid off. Not with a bunch of wins or anything, as the Falcons are still a highly inept organization with very poor coaching, but at least the talent is there.
It's not clear whether London will be able to return to form this year. And new starting QB Kirk Cousins, who was the starting QB last year for the Falcons before he got benched, targeted Mooney at a high rate. But that doesn't matter much. If London can get healthy, he's easily in the top-5 fantasy WR conversation.
