Josh Downs - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News Updates

Week 10 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Josh Downs, Troy Franklin, and Tez Johnson in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.

Just like that, the 2025 NFL trade deadline is here. Today's events will surely have a huge ripple effect on the fantasy football landscape.

In this article, we will focus on Josh Downs, Troy Franklin, and Tez Johnson. Downs extended his touchdown streak to three consecutive games, as he found the endzone in the Colts' loss to the Steelers. Franklin was targeted 10 times and completed a two-point conversion in an otherwise quiet outing against the Texans, and Johnson got some much-needed rest during the Buccaneers' bye week.

Are Downs, Franklin, and Johnson worth adding off the waiver wire in Week 10? Here are the latest outlooks on each for fantasy football.

Josh Downs Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 55% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in 10+ Team PPR Leagues

Only 21 WRs have converted 23+ first downs while recording over 300 receiving yards in the 2025 season. Downs is one of the names on this list, as his third-down conversion rate has been a huge asset for the Colts this season.

Out of 16 third-down opportunities so far this season, the former North Carolina Tar Heel has successfully moved the sticks 12 times.

This number has only been bettered by three other WRs (Courtland Sutton, George Pickens, Keenan Allen), all of whom have played one more game than Downs.

His 75% third-down conversion rate is almost peerless, making him a key asset to the team. Despite the Colts' deflating loss to the Steelers, they're still looking to earn a first-round bye, and Downs will continue to be a big part of one of the best offenses in football.

Troy Franklin Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 48% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

Sophomore wideout Franklin had a pretty quiet rookie season, but he has already surpassed his 2024 production in his second year in the league.

Franklin found the endzone three times in two games against the Giants and Cowboys in Weeks 7 and 8, and he caught the eyes of many fantasy football managers when he finished as Week 8's PPR WR1.

Franklin had a quieter performance against the Texans, but still managed to convert a crucial two-point conversion to tie the game in the fourth quarter.

Bo Nix has targeted Franklin 28 times over the last three games, which has resulted in him leading the team in total targets (64) so far this season.

Tez Johnson Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 35% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues

Speaking of Nix, his adopted brother, Johnson, is carving out a nice role for himself on the Buccaneers. Much like the Colts and Broncos, the Buccaneers have a good chance of topping the NFC standings this season, but the injury bug has been a big obstacle in their way.

Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan are out, and it's currently unclear if Chris Godwin will return in Week 10. However, their young players, such as Johnson, have stepped up significantly to fill those gaps in their offense.

Johnson finished as the PPR WR25 from Week 5 to Week 8, as he recorded 205 yards and scored two touchdowns. Evans and McMillan are expected to be out for most of the season, so even if Godwin comes back this week, Johnson will still have a solid role on the team.
