It's Week 10 of the fantasy football season, and you're a lucky manager if you don't need running back help at this point in the season.
You have two options: give up an asset on your current roster and make a trade, or win in the margins by snagging the right running back off the waiver wire.

Terrell Jennings Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

The Patriots' rushing attack did just fine without the services of Rhamondre Stevenson.
New England's RB1 sat out of Sunday's win over the Atlanta Falcons with a toe injury. Rookie TreVeyon Henderson got the start and tallied 87 yards on 18 touches. Former undrafted runner Terrell Jennings was also involved: 12 touches for 44 yards and the team's lone rushing touchdown.

The vultured touchdown was infuriating for the Henderson masses, who called upon their early-round bust now that Stevenson was out of the way. But it continues the trend we've seen all season in New England. Mike Vrabel and Co. are going to use multiple running backs.
Unfortunately, we don't have a clear timeline for Stevenson's injury. Toe issues, as seen with Brock Purdy, can linger depending on their severity. Let's entertain the idea that he's out for a few more weeks.
The Week 10 matchup for Jennings isn't great. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are stout against interior runners, which is where Jennings is getting most of his work. The Patriots then turn around and play the Jets, a bottom-10 run defense, on Thursday Night Football before a date with the Cincinnati Bengals, the worst run defense in football.
Of course, if Stevenson is back next week, Jennings holds no further value and doesn't need to be picked up anywhere. We likely won't get any further insight until the Patriots hold their Wednesday practice and release an injury report. Jennings can be stashed until then, especially for running back-needy teams.

Isaiah Davis' outlook hinges entirely on the NFL trade deadline. Breece Hall has been a popular name tossed around as a potential trade candidate, which would make Davis the starting running back for the New York Jets. It's not a lavish gig, playing for one of the league's worst offenses. But the Jets run the football often, and a starting running back can't be ignored in fantasy football.

Then again, the Jets may be holding onto their RB1. Reports emerged over the weekend that the Jets would only trade Hall if they got an "offer they couldn't refuse." Any team that ponies up an offer of that caliber will also essentially be committing to signing Hall to a long-term deal; otherwise, it's a half-season rental.
All fantasy managers should pay attention to the trade deadline on Tuesday afternoon. If Hall is still a member of Gang Green as of 4 o'clock eastern time, Davis is nothing more than insurance for Hall. If Hall is gone, then Davis will be the most popular waiver wire player this week.
Tyler Allgeier Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

At times this season, Tyler Allgeier was a flex with benefits. The Falcons were running the football so effectively that both Bijan Robinson and Allgeier could eat. Allgeier had double-digit rush attempts in four of Atlanta's first five games and scored a touchdown in three of them. So, he was a startworthy asset with the ability to be an RB1 if Robinson suffered an injury.
That hasn't been the case recently. The Falcons are now a bottom-five scoring offense and middle-of-the-pack in rushing production. Allgeier is averaging four touches over the last three games and hasn't topped 16 yards. A short touchdown late in a blowout loss is the only thing of note he's done since Week 6.
However, if anything happens to Robinson, there will be 100% FAAB dumps on Allgeier. He's a former 1,000-yard rusher on a team that heavily utilizes running backs in the running and passing games.
Allgeier may never crack your starting lineup, but if you have the roster flexibility, snag your lottery ticket and hold onto him as long as you can.
