Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) will not require surgery after seeking multiple medical opinions this week, but his status for Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday is not looking good. Garafolo added it's uncertain exactly what McLaurin's injury is, as it's been described as a quad/groin/hip ailment. It was ominous news that McLaurin met with a core-muscle specialist this week, but at least for now, he will avoid going under the knife. Still, the 30-year-old wideout has not practiced yet this week and is looking unlikely to play this Sunday in Atlanta. Fantasy managers would be wise to replace him in their starting lineups for now. Even if he's able to practice on Friday, which seems unlikely, he wouldn't be a lock to play in Week 4. With Noah Brown trending toward a second straight missed game, Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane appear to be in line for increased playing time for the Commanders.--Keith Hernandez
