Top-5 Hitter Fantasy Baseball Prospects To Stash For Week 10 - Redraft Leagues (2025)

Shay Whitcomb - Fantasy Baseball Prospects, Draft Sleepers, MLB Rookies

Kevin Luo's top hitter fantasy baseball prospects to stash for Week 10 (2025). His MLB prospects to pick up and stash on your bench and N/A spots in redraft leagues.

A top Red Sox prospect got the call to the majors! Marcelo Mayer was the biggest hitting prospect call-up this past week.

There are still quite a few prospects close to the majors that should make a fantasy impact in the near future.

Let's take a look at a few top prospects to stash for Week 10 of the fantasy baseball season.

Roman Anthony, OF, Boston Red Sox

Roman Anthony has to be feeling like Squidward watching Spongebob and Patrick out the window, seeing Kristian Campbell and Marcelo Mayer playing in Boston while he's still in Worcester.

There is really nothing left for Anthony to prove or achieve in the minors to deserve a call-up, and that's been the case for weeks, if not months.

Anthony is having another fantastic season at Triple-A with a 164 WRC+, eight HRs, and almost as many walks as strikeouts.

The Red Sox don't appear super motivated to open up a spot in their lineup for Anthony, which seems insane to me, but that's why Craig Breslow gets paid the big bucks. It's looking more and more like Anthony will need one of Boston's outfielders to get injured to get the call.

When Anthony gets the call, he should be a starting outfielder in all fantasy formats.

Jac Caglianone, 1B/OF, Kansas City Royals

So Triple-A has been no match so far for Jac Caglianone.

After tearing up Double-A with nine HRs and a 155 WRC+, he's been even hotter in his first week in Triple-A. He already has five HRs and has a 181 WRC+. The one minor blemish on his Triple-A resume is that he's only walking 2.7 percent of the time.

Cags has been playing a lot in the outfield, and the Royals' lineup is more than ready for him whenever the front office deems him ready for a call-up. If he has another good week or two at Triple-A, I'd expect him to get a one-way ticket to Kansas City.

His power upside will make a significant impact for any fantasy team when he gets the call.

Ryan Ritter, SS, Colorado Rockies

The Rockies have a 24-year-old shortstop in Triple-A with a 142 WRC+ and 15 HRs, so what do they do? They do the most Rockies thing ever and sign Orlando Arcia.

I'll be honest and say Ryan Ritter was not high on my fantasy radar coming into the season. He had an exciting 2023 season, during which he hit 24 home runs and stole 20 bases across multiple levels, but followed it up with a less exciting and injury-riddled 2024.

In 2025, Ritter is getting his first taste of Triple-A, and he's putting up massive power numbers. He also has the lowest K-rate of his career (excluding a very short stint in the complex in 2022) at 21.1 percent to go along with a 13.9 percent BB-rate.

While the Rockies have Ezequiel Tovar manning short, it's not like they have a wealth of good offensive players across their lineup. If Ritter continues to hit like this, he could force their hand for a call-up.

When he gets the call, he could provide big power from the middle infield spot with his all-around profile getting a boost playing half of his games at Coors Field.

Shay Whitcomb, 3B, Houston Astros

Shay Whitcomb has put up impressive power numbers in the minors over the last few seasons. In 2023, he hit 35 HRs between Double-A and Triple-A. He also stole 20 bases. However, that came with a 91 WRC+ and an over 30 percent K-rate.

Last season in Triple-A, he had 25 HRs and 26 SBs in only 108 games. He combined this impressive power-speed blend with a much-improved hit tool. He lowered his K-rate to 19.8 percent and had a 134 WRC+ before getting a 20-game stint in the majors, where he got sporadic playing time.

This season, he's continuing to mash and trying to force the issue for another call-up to Houston. He's already up to 17 HRs while maintaining a palatable 21.8 percent K-rate and a 136 WRC+.

There's not an obvious spot for Whitcomb to play (unless Christian Walker's hand injury is serious), but if Whitcomb continues to hit like this, the Astros should find a spot. He's also 26 years old, so there's not much reason to keep him down much longer.

When Whitcomb gets the call, he should provide solid speed to go along with a lot of power, especially with the Crawford Boxes in Houston to hit into.

Brady House, 3B, Washington Nationals

The Nationals have called up two hitting prospects from Triple-A over the last week, Daylen Lile and Robert Hassell III. Will the third time the Nats make a call to Rochester be the charm for their young third baseman?

Brady House struggled pretty immensely last year in Triple-A as he only had a 67 WRC+ and a 3.0 percent BB-rate. While not setting the world on fire this season, he's improved immensely with a 114 WRC+, 7.0 percent BB-rate, and 10 HRs already.

House is not a prospect without flaws, most notably his plate discipline. He's striking out 28.0 percent of the time, which is not the best pairing to his BB-rate. So, the GM speaks of "he needs to work on things" before getting a call-up is reasonable for him.

However, this front office is not shy about its aggressiveness in calling up their top prospects to continue the youth movement. Jose Tena has been the primary third baseman for the Nationals so far this season, and his 91 WRC+ and zero HRs have not provided a strong blockade against House getting inserted into the lineup.

When House gets the call, he should provide solid power with a little bit of a questionable hit tool. If he can keep the K-rate in check, he could be an exciting third base option, considering the position is looking for upside toward the back end of starting options.
