Rashod Bateman fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 9 (2024). Should you start or sit Rashod Bateman for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Sit in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR60
ANALYSIS: Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman has had a sneaky good fantasy football season. He is the WR24 for the year, averaging 8.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran wide receiver hasn’t been a high-targeted player in the passing game, averaging 4.4 targets per contest this year. Bateman has seen five or fewer targets in all but one game.
Yet, the veteran wide receiver has scored 10.3 or more fantasy points in three of the past six contests. Unfortunately, Bateman’s fantasy value has taken a massive hit after the Ravens traded for Diontae Johnson earlier this week.

Fantasy players in standard-size leagues can drop Bateman. There are too many mouths to feed on offense with Johnson in town. Unfortunately, the former Minnesota star is the odd man out in the pecking order.
Meanwhile, Bateman faces the Denver Broncos this week. They have held wide receivers to 20.8 fantasy points per game, the third-fewest in the NFL.
