J.K. Dobbins fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 9 (2024). Should you start or sit J.K. Dobbins for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB23
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has had a career year. The former Ohio State star is the RB18, averaging 13.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Dobbins has stayed healthy this season after dealing with several severe injuries earlier in his career.
The veteran running back has 112 rushing attempts for 535 yards and four touchdowns in seven games, finishing the end zone in two of the past three weeks. However, Dobbins is a touchdown-or-bust running back. He has scored 14.8 or more fantasy points in every game with a touchdown. By comparison, the veteran has averaged 7.6 fantasy points per game in the three contests without finding the end zone.

Unfortunately, Dobbins has an unfriendly matchup this week against the Cleveland Browns. They have surrendered 16.9 fantasy points per game to running backs, the sixth-fewest in the NFL. The Browns have held running backs under 80 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.
While the matchup is less than ideal, Dobbins is still a solid low-end RB2 option in Week 9.
