Two Teams Interested In Austin Seferian-Jenkins
7 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons are very interested in free-agent tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, although the New York Jets would like to re-sign him. ASF cleaned up his off-field issues in 2017 with the Jets and caught a career-high 50 passes for 357 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games with Gang Green. The 25-year-old has straightened out his path and has upside left, but he also disappeared for long stretches in the Jets offense last year and would merely be a TE2 with touchdown upside if he stays in his current situation. Seattle may be the most attractive spot, as they look likely to move on from Jimmy Graham. In Atlanta, Seferian-Jenkins would likely have to share pass-catching work with Austin Hooper.
