Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Monahan (undisclosed) is expected to be in the lineup on Thursday versus the Detroit Red Wings, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports. Monahan has been banged up this season and left Monday's 5-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils in the third period. He scored two of Columbus' goals, marking his first multi-point night of the season. Overall, Monahan has posted five goals and 13 points in 26 games. It has been a tough campaign for Monahan, but he has a chance to light the lamp in a third consecutive game on Thursday night.--Taavi Pailk
