Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Monahan (upper body) is a game-time decision for Saturday's clash against the Vancouver Canucks, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Fortunately, Monahan avoided a serious injury on Wednesday night against the Calgary Flames. After an extremely slow start to the campaign, Monahan has picked up form lately, posting six points (one goal, five assists) in eight games. He finished scoreless in each of his first five outings of the season. If he's cleared to play, Monahan is expected to be joined by Miles Wood and Kent Johnson on the top line on Saturday night.--Taavi Pailk
