Rashee Rice's Groin Injury is Minor
Rashee Rice (groin) out of training camp practices is minor, and Reid called his absence precautionary. Rice has now missed back-to-back practices this week and will most likely be held out of the preseason opener on Saturday against the Arizona Cardinals, alongside wideout Marquise Brown (ankle). In addition to a minor groin injury, the 25-year-old Rice is facing a potential suspension in 2025 for an off-field incident. He was on pace for a strong second season in the NFL in 2024 before suffering a season-ending torn LCL in Week 4. The suspension hanging over Rice's head this year kills some of his fantasy appeal, but he's still worth a WR3/flex selection in fantasy drafts as one of quarterback Patrick Mahomes' favorite targets when he's available.
