Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes (undisclosed) will remain sidelined on Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens, marking his fourth consecutive absence. However, he is making progress, and Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet told reporters on Monday that Hughes is getting closer to a return. "He's progressing, and he could surprise us any time when he's ready to go," Tocchet said. "I'm not saying he's going to be in the lineup tomorrow. It's coming; I just don't know when." The Canucks will complete a back-to-back on Wednesday against the Calgary Flames. Filip Hronek and Tyler Myers have received increased power-play time during Hughes' absence. Hronek has been more productive of the two, recording four assists over the past three games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
