Apparently, Ekman-Larsson told Maple Leafs forward William Nylander that he would be fine after Saturday night, which suggests he avoided serious injury. In Saturday's win, Ekman-Larsson tied the second-longest point streak in franchise history by a defenseman. He has tallied three goals and seven assists during a nine-game point streak.
