Maxwell Crozier Likely Out on Friday
Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Maxwell Crozier (undisclosed) is not expected to play in Friday's matchup against the Detroit Red Wings, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports. Speaking to reporters after Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper was pessimistic about Crozier's chances of being available for the next game. On Tuesday, Crozier was limited to 4:27 of ice time due to an undisclosed injury. If he can't play on Friday, there's a strong chance that Crozier will also miss Saturday's contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 25-year-old has impressed early in the season, notching three assists in four games. Tampa Bay will probably have Darren Raddysh step in for Crozier. Raddysh has also enjoyed offensive success this season by tallying three points (one goal, two assists) in two outings.
