Leo Carlsson Establishes New Career High With Six-Game Point Streak
Anaheim Ducks center Leo Carlsson celebrated a new career-high in Sunday's 4-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils, extending his point streak to six games. Carlsson collected an assist on Chris Kreider's empty-net goal to become only the third player in franchise history with a point streak of at least six games before age 21. The Swedish youngster has been hot throughout the campaign, going scoreless only twice in 11 contests. He leads the Ducks with 11 assists and 16 points. Carlsson's point streak faces a massive test next, as the Ducks get ready to host the back-to-back Stanley Cup-winning Florida Panthers on Tuesday night.
