Julius Randle Gets Going In Game 4 Loss
2 years agoNew York Knicks power forward Julius Randle finally had an efficient scoring performance in the 2023 playoffs Monday, hitting 8-for-13 from the field en route to 20 points in a 109-101 loss to Miami. He finished 1-for-4 from downtown and 3-for-5 at the charity stripe, so there was still room for improvement, but Randle had previously shot only 34 percent for the postseason and badly needed a game like this. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to complete it, as Randle picked up his sixth foul with three minutes to go in the game. He was one rebound shy of a double-double and also posted three assists with six turnovers in 39 minutes. Randle will need to stay clear of foul trouble and turnovers in Wednesday's Game 5 for the Knicks to get another trip to Miami.
