Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson (upper body) exited early during Saturday's contest with an injury. Before exiting, Gibson stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced against the Boston Bruins. The backup netminder, Lukas Dostal, entered the game in the third period and stopped nine of the 10 shots he saw en route to clinching the victory. Fantasy managers should monitor Gibson's status, but given that the Ducks play on Sunday evening, he will likely be unavailable. As a result, Dostal is expected to get the starting nod against the Red Wings. Over his previous six starts, Gibson has only allowed more than two goals on one occasion. During this stretch, he has held a .944 save percentage with a 1.82 GAA. Dostal holds a .964 percent save percentage over his last two outings and would be a viable DFS play against Detroit.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
