Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (illness) won't suit up against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday due to an illness. Embiid played through the illness on Monday against Miami, collecting 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists and one block across 34 minutes. However, he posted on X that the organization was shutting him down for tonight's game. Adem Bona and Andre Drummond will see expanded roles with Embiid back out of action.--Andrew Lennox
