Junior wide receiver Jayden Gibson is no longer with the Oklahoma program, according to head coach Brent Venables. The former four-star recruit in the Class of 2022 caught 14 passes for 375 yards and five touchdowns as a redshirt freshman in 2023 before missing all of the 2024 season due to injury. He reportedly suffered another injury this offseason and has not appeared in a game for the Sooners in 2025. In the new age of college football, we'll continue to see players leave programs and head for the transfer portal when things go south.
