Jacob Young Day-to-Day with Finger Injury
Jacob Young (finger) left the team's 9-3 win over the Minnesota Twins early on Saturday with a bruised right index finger. Young departed after hurting his finger on a third-inning bunt attempt, but X-rays came back negative. The 26-year-old is considered day-to-day, so he may sit out Sunday's game. Alex Call replaced him in center field on Saturday. Young has gone homer-less over 250 plate appearances this year and batted just .245/.314/.291 with 18 RBI, 24 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases. He's well behind last year's 33-steal pace.
