New York Rangers center J.T. Miller (illness) did not participate in Thursday's practice session due to illness. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his status leading up to their next contest on Friday evening against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 31-year-old has enjoyed a recent offensive surge, riding a three-game point streak. During this stretch, Miller has found the back of the net three times and added two helpers. Since being acquired by the Rangers earlier in February, Miller has tallied nine points through eight contests. He has tallied an impressive 29 hits and logged 14 shots on goal. If Miller were to sit out during Friday's contest, Mika Zibanejad will likely take his spot on the second line and play alongside Will Cuylle and Chris Krieder. Jonny Brodzinski could also have an increased role in Friday's contest as well.--Andy Smith
