7 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher J.A. Happ has been officially named the team's Opening Day starter, according to manager John Gibbons. Happ will be followed in the rotation by Aaron Sanchez, Marco Estrada, Marcus Stroman and Jaime Garcia. The veteran left-handed had a pretty solid season in 2017, with a 3.53 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 142 K's in 145 1/3 innings over 25 starts. He's become a steady late-round pick in mixed leagues, but he'll be a player to avoid in DFS in the season opener against the heavy-hitting Yankees.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
