Eugenio Suarez Out Again in Series Finale
Eugenio Suarez (hand) continues to sit out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the hosting Chicago White Sox after he was hit in the right hand by a pitch in Monday's victory in Chicago. Suarez underwent an MRI exam on Tuesday and is expected to miss a couple more days to allow the swelling in his hand go down. Fantasy managers will want to check back on Friday to see if the 33-year-old right-handed slugger is able to return for the series opener against the Miami Marlins. The D-backs have a day off on Thursday. Rookie Tim Tawa is starting at third base and batting ninth on Wednesday against White Sox right-hander Sean Burke. The Snakes can ill-afford a lengthy absence from one of the best power hitters in the game after placing star outfielder Corbin Carroll (wrist) on the injured list on Tuesday.
