Kaiden Guhle Out Day-to-Day
Montreal Canadiens defenseman Kaiden Guhle (groin) has been labeled as day-to-day. He missed Thursday's preseason matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs with a groin issue. In the game, the Canadiens defense also lost Noah Dobson (groin) and David Reinbacher (undisclosed), but the injuries don't appear to be serious. "I don't think it's serious stuff, so I'm not too worried about it," Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis said after the game. Guhle already lost a big chunk of last season to health issues and is likely eager not to miss the opening night. The 23-year-old finished the 2024-25 campaign with 18 points (six goals, 12 assists), 71 shots, 124 blocks, and 104 hits in 55 contests.
