Bud Cauley in Great Form Ahead of John Deere Classic
Bud Cauley posted a T25 in his most recent start at the Travelers Championship, marking his sixth top-30 finish in his last 10 events. He'll look to keep that strong form going at the John Deere Classic, where he's made seven appearances, missed just one cut, and recorded three finishes of T18 or better. Success at TPC Deere Run requires strong tee-to-green play and accuracy off the tee, areas where Cauley has performed well. He ranks 22nd in strokes gained from tee to green (plus-0.798 per round), 50th off the tee (plus-0.226), and 16th on approach (plus-0.546), though he sits just 101st in driving accuracy. He also ranks in the 83rd percentile in proximity from 100–150 yards, a key range that made up 34.2% of all approach shots here last year.
